RMS LITE RELEASE LOOMING

In our two-part series, we’ve discussed what RMS-Lite does and answered questions from concerned readers. The release date RMS-Lite was delayed to make changes suggested by beta-testers and getting it certified with a data processor. The delays made RMS-Lite significantly better, and we are proud to announce that it will be officially released on July 12th, 2010! Q-Rewards Improved

Our quantity-based customer loyalty program, Q-Rewards has received an overhaul that includes some significant improvements. To update to the current version of Q-rewards 2.8.2, go to www.RMSExperts.com

Q-Rewards for Dynamics RMS is a quantity-based customer loyalty program which implements a scenario: “Buy X of any items from the group Y, get a Z discount on the last purchase”.  Items in your inventory are assigned to “Incentive Groups.” Every time a customer purchases an item from this incentive group, their purchase is recorded. When they reach a certain threshold number of items purchased, they can receive an item from this incentive group for a pre-defined discount.

Typical Customers:
• Pet food stores: Buy 10 Bags Get 1 Free
• Coffee shops: Buy 7 cups get next cup 50% off
• Juice and health drink stands: Buy any 3 smoothies, get the 4th one free

Retail Hero built a system called Q-rewards which works transparently with RMS that improved the efficiency of this frequent buyer program by automating the entire process from the cashier level to the back office level, where managers now had all the reporting they needed right at their fingertips. The frequent buyer program was so successful that we were overwhelmed with paperwork. It was a complete nightmare to process. Chockstone Gift Card Integration Overhauled

The Chockstone/Heartland Gift Cards, for which Retail Hero developed integration into Dynamics RMS, has received an overhaul. We applied the suggestions that we received from several dozen implementations of the software in this update.
