Loyalty Tip #13: Use Welcome Points to Get Your Customers Started

Hero Points gives retailers the option of awarding “welcome points” to new customers. One reason for using welcome points - as we showed you in Loyalty Tip #6 - is that they persuade customers to return sooner. Here are two great reasons to use welcome points:

  • People procrastinate. When you give welcome points to customers, you kick-start them towards a goal.
  • Since registering for a loyalty program takes time, and time is money, customers should be rewarded for taking their time to register. Welcome points turn a distant reward into instant gratification.

Welcome points are a good incentive to join your rewards program, and get customers started building loyalty.

Hero Points Testimonial

“As a Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System reseller I would recommend the Hero Points add-on as a great tool for those looking to manage a points-based program for their customers. It's nice and easy to install and even easier for our clients to create and manage their programs. It's yet another tool that makes Dynamics RMS the most powerful retail system on the market for small and mid-sized retailers.” - Factor One (Reseller), AB Canada
