Retail Hero's Customer Loyalty Reward Points ("Hero Points") 2.0 for Microsoft Dynamics RMS is designed to implement a retail industry's requirement to collect points according to dollar value they spend at the store and give predefined customer discount based on the number of collected loyalty points (redeem points).
The functionality is similar to popular mass Customer Loyalty Programs such as Air Miles, Petro-Points etc. The store owner has capability to define a flexible redeeming schedule (i.e. $25 discount for 600 points, $50 discount for 1,000 points etc.) and let only trusted store employees or managers redeem the points. The system detects when the customer reaches a number of points that is redeemable and automatically prompts the cashier to reward the customer by applying a discount according to the number of points collected corresponding to the Discount Schedule.

Hero Points Screenshots:
Screen 1 Configuration Tab:

Here is where you can configure how many points a customer needs to accumulate in order to receive the corresponding discount.
This is totally configurable by the user. You get to decide how many points a customer needs to accumulate to receive the dollar off discount that you will also configure.
Screen 2 Misc Options

This tab is where you actually activate Hero Points with the serial number you will be provided with. There are also some options that act as toggle on/off switches which effect the way things display at Point of Sale such as "show messages" which tells the cashier how many points were added and how many were deducted on a particular transaction.
Screen 3 Exceptions Tab:

Here you can specify who and what the program will NOT collect points for, such as Employees, Customers W/ Discounts, Voucher type items, Non Inventory Items and discounted items.
You can also configure it so that a customer has to spend a certain dollar value (lets say $20) before points will be applied. But if you want your customers to start collecting points on every dollar they spend then simply set the “minimal transaction amount” to Zero.
Screen 4 Settings Tab:

This tab will look similar to the configuration tab in Store Operations Administrator, where the database needs to be selected, the correct password entered and the connection tested successfully. Once the connection is established click "save connection".
